Meet the Illustrator
A self-educated photographer, author, and artist, Deborah Austin created her own small business, Finding Home Photography, in 2007. Her photos have been used in numerous publications throughout her career. She recently returned to painting after a long hiatus from the fine arts. In 2009 she appeared in her first local gallery show at BJS Artworks in the Troy Shirt Factory located in Glens Falls, NY. Her most recent show in 2018 was as a participating artist at a Lower Adirondacks Regional Arts Council gallery show.
As well as photography, writing, and painting, she also enjoys knitting and woodburning. Deborah currently has three novels on Kindle, "Hiding in Plain Sight", and "Descent" and "Ascension", the first two books in a four part series. Deborah resides in Granville, NY. with her husband James and her eldest daughter.
